Threaded Rebar Coupler

  • Threaded Rebar Coupler — application range

    quality Threaded Rebar Coupler Service

Parallel threaded joints are full-strength joints used to connect steel bars. Used for mechanical splicing of steel bars in concrete structures. Reinforcing bars can be connected horizontally, vertically and diagonally. It is widely used in tunnels, bridges, iron towers, airports, subways, high-rise buildings, etc.

The steel bar connector provided to the contractor is used for: 1. The connection of the vertical steel bars in the column. 2. The connection of the horizontal steel bars in the slab. 3. Wall beam connection. In this case, in the first stage of concrete pouring, the connector is poured flush with the formwork. After the template is removed, only the connecting steel bars need to be screwed into the coupler.

    quality Threaded Rebar Coupler Service

Rebar connectors have many advantages in the construction of multiple applications: foundation piles, D-shaped walls, column to beam/slabs, core walls, and compatibility with slipform technology. Parallel thread couplers support high-strength and safe construction quality. Quality-tested products are widely used in various construction and industrial applications. Provide strength, stability and lifetime performance for large infrastructure projects. In construction, the need for superior safety, strength and structural integrity means that QF products are often used in various large infrastructure projects. Rebar connectors play a key role in the construction of safe, high-strength and efficient building facilities worldwide.

It is well known in the construction industry that reinforcement splicing solutions can quickly connect reinforcements of different grades and diameters.

Our production line is divided into 3 kinds of applications:
Cast-in-place >> The mechanical splicing scheme adopts a parallel thread system, which can realize fast, high-performance and reliable steel connection. Due to the use of high-efficiency equipment or the purchase of prepared steel bars directly from our dealers, the steel bars are usually prepared in advance.
Prefabrication >> A solution for connecting prefabricated components together without the need for wet in-situ joints.
Maintenance >> No need to prepare the bar, usually use light tools for operation, and a minimum bar length solution is required.

Parallel threaded joint is a cold-headed parallel threaded reinforced joint with high-strength threads inside. (Rebar connector) In this method, threads are cut on each side of the rebar. The depth of these threads will be half the length of the coupler. Then rotate around the rebar and complete the assembly. If necessary, you will assemble the coupler on one side of the short thread and use the required plastic protection accessories.
The use of parallel threaded connectors can simplify the planning and construction of reinforced concrete and reduce the number of steel bars required.

Each end of the steel bar to be connected is cut into a square and enlarged using a cold forging process. A thread rolling machine is then used to form threads on the enlarged rod end. The thread makes the cross-sectional area of the top of the steel bar not reduce, and ensures that the connection strength matches or exceeds the strength of the parent steel bar.
Verify that the top load of each threaded rolled steel bar is sufficient to meet the characteristic yield strength of the steel bar. It is the combination of these processes that provides a connection that enhances fatigue resistance.

① Screw the coupler into one side of the steel bar thread
② Screw the threaded area of the other steel bar into the coupler to ensure that the ends of the two steel bars are in contact
③ Reverse rotation of the coupler to ensure that the effective threads exposed on each side are equal
④ Tighten the steel bar with a torque wrench or socket wrench
